My son did the cutest thing in the world last night. HE has been trying really hard to sit up by himself and he has done a rather good job at it. still wobbly but to say the least he is getting there. I took him to the doctor yesterday and in the office he flipped over and started laughing histarically. the doctor walked in and took his diaper off to examine the red bumps on his skin and he was close to try to really look at them and Gunner farted right in his face. it was pretty funny. But on another not we still dont know what is wrong with him or why these bumps appeared and have spread the way they have. I feel so stupid for not knowing this earlier but i think i figured out the cause; see about a month and a half ago he was really sick. I took him to the doctor and all they would say is that he just had a little cold or something, well he wouldnt eat and he wouldnt hardly do anything, his throat was sore and looking back i dont know why i didnt think of it then. He could have had strep throat. See strep before, during or after can cause a chicken pock like rash on the skin and remain there for as long as it wants to without medicational cream. The doctor asked me if he had been around any one sick and i said no because he hasnt, but i never though that he could have had strp because no one did any tests to make sure he didnt have it. So im thinking that he had it and we didnt know and thats what caused the "rash" or whatever it is. Needless to say i did get some pericite cream and that should take care of it but its the simple fact that i let how worried i was get in the way of my logical thinking. Im going to call the doctor today and tell him what i think and maybe it will help him get the right kind of medicine for him because it is far beyond what i can do. It makes me feel better to know but at the same time it makes me feel worse that i didnt think about it.
